Ride pelican in jungle

At the very begining of "343 guilty spark", THE SECOND AFTER the cutscene [where the pelican drops you off] ends, throw 1 grenade, then don't move/wait for a moment. You will still be on the pelican, and it will take off with you on it. Eventually it will crash, then press A to get out, and you can do 2 cool things from here - keep moving through the hills & you'll find an unarmed marine standing alone, or keep moving along the hills until you are above the flood temple entrance where the covenant are fleeing and machine gun fire is coming from within. Drop down above the entrance and just inside the entrance there are floating machine guns firing, but no marines firing them! This is also a good way to skip the whole jungle area...if you're a wimp.
